J&J’s Second Quarter Sales Up 10.9%

Johnson & Johnson (J&J), New Brunswick, NJ, announced record sales of $9.1 billion, an increase of 10.9% over second-quarter 2001 results. Excluding the impact of currency, worldwide sales increased 10.7%. Domestic sales increased 10.7%, while international sales increased 11.3%.J&J also announced net earnings for the second quarter were $1.7 billion, an increase of 11.6%.
